History

The company was founded in 1993 by Managing Director Mr. Tommy Lim, who was then searching for investors with integrity and good moral values. In 2004, he found these qualities in partners: Director, Mr. Lee Soon Huat; and shareholders Mr. Tan Lye Huat & Mr. Low Geh Hong. Their entry into the company, partnered with Mr. Lim’s experience and vision has paved the way for success in their specialized line of work.

Having been in the Construction industry since 1981, Mr. Lim, now a specialist in controlled demolition, discovered a niche in the sector at a time when malls were being upgraded in earnest to attract a very discerning shopping public. Mr. Lim, thus decided to seize this opportunity. The company had acquired some high profile projects; including the extensions of Raffles City and Paragon, as well as Novena Square, Suntec City, Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, Marina Bay Sands, Capri Hotel, China Square, Hong Leong Building; and upgrading works at Changi Airport Terminals T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5. The company’s specialisation in controlled demolition had also allowed for projects to be executed and completed in both Bangkok and Sri Lanka.

Our People

Ginlee Construction Pte Ltd relies on a highly capable and skilled Operations team, supported by a committed Management with substantial technical expertise and experience. The company works on the premise that Demolition can be undertaken both effectively and efficiently in a controlled and/or restrictive environment.
